NBA All-Star Weekend just rolled into town and Monday's a holiday. Translation: the city is absolutely going off. We dug through every listing so you don't have to. Here's what's actually worth your time.
Sunday, Feb 15 — The Main Event
☀️ Day Parties (Start Here)
Divine Timing 002** — Elysian Park, 12–6pm — **FREE
House music, open decks, a public park with a view. Grandfather, Mr. Anderson, UNITYCHECK, and Mr. Fowler on the ones and twos. Zero dollars. This is your low-key Sunday anchor—show up with a blanket, some friends, and nowhere to be.
Sirens Del Sol** — SoCal Vibes Co. Surf Club, Santa Monica, 3–8pm — **FREE
Nicoshi, Le Fronk, Zimani, and Kumiai spinning house and disco steps from the beach. Free entry, 21+. If you want salt air with your four-on-the-floor, this is the one.
**RAW CUTS: Los Angeles** — Santa Monica Pier, 3–8pm
Rafael (IS) and Tottie at the pier. Yes, the actual pier. Indie dance and progressive house with an ocean backdrop. There's also a **RAW CUTS After Party** at a TBA location, 8pm–2am, with Heidi Lawden, Adam Rose, EREZ.JPG, and shanty mane if you want to keep the thread going into the night.
**Sunset Sessions** — Level 8 DTLA, 4–10pm
Rooftop vibes with RCKSLVR, GRLFRND, Tamara Lanza, and Electric Field. Downtown views, electronic music, golden hour. You know the drill.
**Afrobeats Day Party** — Sofitel Beverly Hills, 4–10pm — $15
Jersey party edition. Afrobeats, dancehall, amapiano, reggae. All ages. If you want something outside the four-on-the-floor bubble, this is your play—and at the Sofitel, no less.
**NBA All-Star Sunday: Daytime Sessions** — Skybar at Mondrian, 1–7pm
WeHo's most Instagrammable pool deck goes full All-Star mode. If you're here for the basketball weekend crossover energy, this is ground zero.
🌙 Evening & Night
**Sunday Sessions LA (Vinyl Only) Open Air** — The Bridge, 630 S Anderson St, 6pm–12am — **Free before 7pm** / $23–30 after
This is the sleeper pick of the weekend. Vinyl-only sets from Kiyoshi, Laura Peck, Krane, and Miro (Stereokitchen) in the Arts District. Tech house, deep house, minimal. Get there before 7 and it's free. Serious selectors, no gimmicks.
**If You Know You Know: Sunday Service w/ Maayan Nidam** — TBA, 6pm–2am — $15
Maayan Nidam is a deep cut—Romanian-Israeli artist who's been releasing on Perlon and Cadenza for years. Justin Shaffer and Connor Mikami round out the bill. Tech house, minimal, techno. TBA venue, $15. For the heads.
**Honeyluv @ Sound Nightclub** — 10pm–3am — ~$31
The headliner of the night. Honeyluv has been on a tear—from Coachella to Ibiza and back—and she's bringing her tech house energy to Sound's Funktion-One system. This will sell out. Buy your ticket now.
**Kaivon @ Echoplex** — 9pm — $27–34 — 21+
Insomniac presents Kaivon with JAMØ. Dubstep and future bass. This is night three of his LA run (he played Friday and Saturday too), so expect a crowd that knows every drop.
**Avo @ The Spotlight** — 10pm–3am — $25
Afro house meets progressive house. If you want to dance but Honeyluv's sold out, this is Plan B—and honestly, it might end up being the more interesting room.
**Natalia Roth** — Sunset at EDITION, WeHo, 10pm–2am — $23
Definitive presents Natalia Roth with Pedro Borlado and Lanky. Progressive house and tech house in one of WeHo's sleekest hotel venues. Dress up a little.
**Reload: Alex Acosta @ Jungle Hollywood** — 9pm–2am — Circuit house / tech house
Presidents' Day Weekend edition. Part of the RETURNT weekend series.
**Sunset Tea Sunday Night w/ Joe Pacheco @ Hyde Sunset** — 9pm–2am
Same RETURNT series, circuit house and tech house on the Sunset Strip.
🌃 After Hours
**Nightshift After Hours** — TBA (DM @nightshift.la), 11pm–5am — $10
When the clubs close, Nightshift opens. Tech house and minimal till sunrise. $10. DM them on Instagram for the address. This is how you turn Sunday into Monday.
🎵 The Weird & Wonderful
**LA Synth Club** — Old Towne Pub, Pasadena, 7–11:30pm — $5
Seven (!) acts including eg0n, BbartokK, Hot Sound Injection, and more. Ambient, experimental, deep house, techno—all in a Pasadena dive bar for five bucks. This is the kind of thing that makes LA's music scene actually special.
**Live Electronic @ Coaxial** — 8pm — $11
Kelby Clark & Chris Hadley, Doomi Soomi, Eleanora, and more. Experimental, ambient, classical crossover. Coaxial is always doing its own thing.
**Runaway X Luma: Play It Anyway!** — 1720, 8pm
Producer workshop night at 1720 in the Arts District. If you make beats, this one's for you.
🏀 Not Electronic But Worth Mentioning
**Cardi B — Little Miss Drama Tour** — Kia Forum, 8pm
She's doing two nights (Sunday and Monday). The Forum will be a zoo with All-Star Weekend in town.
**All-Star Weekend: Sunday Wrap Session** — Skybar at Mondrian, 9pm–2am
The nighttime sequel to the daytime Skybar session. For when you want the All-Star energy without the ticket prices.
Monday, Feb 16 — Presidents' Day
Most people are sleeping it off. Not you.
**Nightshift After Hours** — TBA, 11pm–5am
They're running it back. Same deal—DM @nightshift.la for the address.
**Live Electronic @ Coaxial** — 8pm — $17
Kelly Bray, Mitch Dion, Garrett Wingfield & Ethan Marks, Grace Shannon. Electroacoustic and live electronic. Coaxial doing Coaxial things, two nights in a row.
**Cardi B — Night 2 @ Kia Forum** — 7:30pm
If Sunday sold out, Monday's your shot.
The MOSH Weekend Strategy
Here's how we'd play it:
**Budget-friendly:** Divine Timing (free, noon) → Sunday Sessions before 7pm (free) → Nightshift After Hours ($10). Total: $10.
**The full send:** Sirens Del Sol (free, afternoon) → Honeyluv at Sound ($31, night) → Nightshift After Hours ($10, late). Total: $41.
**For the music nerds:** LA Synth Club ($5, Pasadena) → Maayan Nidam Sunday Service ($15, TBA). Total: $20.
**All-Star crossover:** Skybar Daytime Sessions → Cardi B at the Forum → Skybar Wrap Session.
