Best Concerts & Live Music in LA This Week: Feb 17-23, 2026
Presidents' Day weekend may be winding down, but the week ahead is far from quiet. LA's got a strong midweek lineup with some genuinely special shows—plus the weekend is shaping up nicely. Here's what's actually worth leaving the house for.
Monday, Feb 17 (Presidents' Day)
You've got the day off. Use it.
**An Evening with Cat Power: The Greatest Tour** — Orpheum Theatre, 8pm
Chan Marshall at the Orpheum is one of those shows that just *fits*. The room's old-Hollywood grandeur meets her raw, stripped-back delivery. If you've never seen her live, this is the venue to do it in. Alt-rock, indie, soul—whatever you want to call it, it's going to be beautiful.
**Del Water Gap — Chasing the Chimera World Tour** — The Wiltern, 7pm
S. Holden Jaffe's indie-pop project has been on a tear. The Wiltern is the perfect mid-size room for this kind of show—big enough to feel like an event, small enough to feel personal.
SoFaygo — MANIA TOUR** — Echoplex, 7pm — **SOLD OUT
If you didn't grab tickets, you're out of luck. SoFaygo with iyrus sold this one out. Check resale if you're desperate.
**Seth MacFarlane** — Walt Disney Concert Hall, 8pm
Yes, that Seth MacFarlane. The man can actually sing—big band jazz standards in one of the best concert halls in the world. If you're into that, this is a legitimately great night out.
**Keni Titus with Eilish Constance** — The Echo, 7pm
Alt-rock at one of LA's most reliable small venues. The Echo always delivers on sound, and weeknight shows here have an intimacy that weekend crowds can't match.
**Kathleen Edwards** — Troubadour, West Hollywood, 7pm
Country-folk at the Troubadour is about as good as it gets. Kathleen Edwards is a songwriter's songwriter—her live shows are understated and devastating in the best way.
**NIGHTSHIFT AFTER HOURS** — TBA (DM @nightshift.la), 11pm–5am
They ran it all weekend and they're still going. Tech house and minimal till sunrise. $10 or so. DM them for the address. Presidents' Day means no consequences.
**Together Tuesdays** — TBA, Long Beach, 6pm
Weekly dance music party in downtown Long Beach. Good vibes, low-key, and a solid way to ease into the week.
Wednesday, Feb 18
**Experiments In Sound: Alex Rashad / Graeham Guerin / Sam Rossi / Camille Kerani** — Sun Space, 8pm — $10
Experimental jazz and electronic. Sun Space consistently books interesting stuff, and at $10 this is one of those midweek gems that makes you feel like you've unlocked a secret level.
**Snow Strippers** — The Observatory, Santa Ana, 6:30pm — $94 — All Ages
Electropop and EDM in Orange County. Pricier ticket, but Snow Strippers have been building a serious following. The Observatory is a great room for this kind of energy.

**If you see one show:** Cat Power at the Orpheum. This is a legacy artist in a legacy venue. Don't overthink it.
**Budget play:** Experiments In Sound ($10) on Wednesday + Nightshift After Hours (~$10) on Monday. Twenty bucks for two wildly different but equally rewarding nights.
